Pelvic Floor Therapy
Pelvic floor therapy is a special sub-branch of physiotherapy that aims at improving continence by increasing the patient’s perception, use and coordination, and overall strength of the sphincter musculature.
This form of therapy is used in cases of age-related incontinence as well as a supplement to postnatal exercise. Your doctor may also recommend pelvic floor therapy after abdominal or prostate surgery.
We work with you to develop an exercise program that is right for you. These exercises are designed specifically so that you can continue your training program independently and in the comfort of your own home.
